getting your nails done professionally feels much more therapeutic than doing it yourself.

I have two coats of merino cool by Essie on - a grey taupe color with purple undertone. Definitely busting out my spring colors after this.

Being a tourist in the city I grew up in. Went to the more local and cultural part of HK before work one day and realize I should do this more often (when I'm not lazy). It shouldn't always be about Central and Causeway Bay. Districts like Yao ma Tei really kept their essence, there's so much character to the neighborhoods there.

i wish hong kong would make up its mind about the weather - one day it'll be a humid 23 degrees then suddenly the next day will be followed by a bone chilling 10 degrees. Nonetheleess, managed to capture an outfit shot. Please excuse the awkard facial expression and body language - i simply can not pose in front of a camera.

diy sunday: necklaces

 had a sudden urge for diy, so managed to persuade the boyf to drive me to hk's most industrial district to pick up a variety of chains, pendants, etc. i usually prefer gold jewellry, but the selection of silver pendants were far more unique and  inspiring. so, ta-da!

i normally wouldn't spend more than 30hkd on a bottle of nail polish but after I came across Essie, I couldn't resist and spent a few extra bucks. Their color selection is just on point. This particular shade - school of hard rocks is doubtlessly unique. Definitely my go-to for fall.

finally, i'm in posession of these boots.

after 3 weeks of contemplation, finally decided to get them, only to find out that they were out of stock, dragged the boyf to three different zaras, then managed to finally get a hold of them.

worth it tho. ;)

last saturday, went out with the guys and the boyf.
i'm never too fancy when i go out. I don't feel right when i'm dancing in pretty dresses to RnB.

so, i usually opt for simple sleevless tops with a monotone color skirt or shorts.
